Don Heath will preach on Who Are You? on Sunday, Dec 17, at 10:45 am. His text will be John 1:6-8, 19-28. This will be the Third Sunday of Advent. We will receive a special Christmas offering to support the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Oklahoma.

We will have our annual congregational meeting on Sunday, Dec 17, following worship to approve the annual budget and slate of officers, deacons and elders.

We will have two worship services on Christmas Eve: Sunday morning worship at 10:45 am and a candlelight service at 6:30 pm.

Our Adult Discussion Group will read Chapter Seven of  Resident Aliens: Life in the Christian Colony, 25th Anniversary Edition, by Stanley Hauerwas and William H. Willimon, for its next meeting on Wednesday, Dec 13, from 7 to 8:30 pm.

Registration is open for the winter/spring semester of Mother's Day Out, which begins Jan 4. Enrollment is limited to ten children in preschool (ages 4 and 5) and eight children in the 2 1/2 and 3-year-old class. Classes are held Monday through Thursday each week, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Our co-pastor, Mary Heath, directs the program and teaches the preschool class. Mary is a certified elementary school teacher. See our Mother's Day Out page for more information.
 
We received $1,784.00 in offering during the worship service
 on Dec 10, consisting of $1,650.00 for the general fund and $134.00 for the Christmas special offeringAttendance was 41.
