Don Heath will preach on Do We Really Have to Suffer? on Sunday, May 28, at 10:45 a.m. His sermon text will be 1 Peter 4:12-19; 5:6-11. This will be the Seventh Sunday of Easter.

An overflow crowd turned out to support the 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds at the graduation ceremony for Mother's Day Out on Wednesday, May 24. The students performed two songs, a dance and two plays for their families.

James Lewis and his son Kilek joined the congregation during worship on May 21. James and his sons, Kilek and Aveon, will be baptized later this summer.

Women's breakfast will be held Saturday, May 27, at 9 a.m., at Silver Estates, 1301 NW 178th Street.

Don Heath was named the Phil Wahl Abolitionist of the Year at the annual dinner of the Oklahoma Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty on May 4. Don is the Vice Chair of the Coalition.

The Adult Discussion Group has concluded its series on The Interior Life and will take a break for the summer.

Registration is open for the fall semester for Mother's Day Out. Classes begin Aug 21. We offer classes four days per week for children, ages 2 1/2 to 5 years. Our co-pastor, Mary Heath, directs the program and teaches the preschool class. Mary is a certified elementary school teacher. See our Mother's Day Out page for more information.
 
We received $611.00 in offering during the worship service
 on May 21, consisting of $511.00 for the general fund and $100.00 for the building fund. Attendance was 25.
