Don Heath will preach on Grumbling About Blessings on Sunday, Sep 24, at 10:45 a.m. His text will be Exodus 16:2-15. This will be the 16th Sunday After Pentecost [Proper 18].

Women's Breakfast will be held Saturday, Sep 23, at 8 a.m. at Silver Elm Estates, 1301 NW 178th Street.

Our Adult Discussion Group will read Chapter 2 [pages 45-77] of The End of White Christian America, by Robert P. Jones at its next meeting on Wednesday, Sep 13, from 7 to 8:30 pm. Books are on sale for $12.00 in the loggia.

Classes for the fall semester of Mother's Day Out began Monday, Aug 21. Registration is still open but is limited to ten children in preschool (ages 4 and 5) and eight children in the 2 1/2 and 3-year-old class. Classes are held Monday through Thursday each week, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Our co-pastor, Mary Heath, directs the program and teaches the preschool class. Mary is a certified elementary school teacher. See our Mother's Day Out page for more information.
We received $741.00 in offering during the worship service
 on Sep 17, consisting of $641.00 for the general fund and $100.00 for the building fund. Attendance was 21.
